GRN 2015 Invite

Greenwich Country Club‏ Fundraiser

We hope that you can join us for our benefit luncheon to support CT Against Gun Violence at the Greenwich Country Club on April 2nd (see invitation below).

We are very excited that our keynote speaker will be Michael Waldman, President of the prestigious Brennan Center for Justice at NYU and author of the authoritative The Second Amendment, A Biography. You are certain to come away with a very clear understanding of how the Second Amendment has become one of the most controversial elements of our Constitution.

Details are listed in the invitation. To register you can click here. Deadline for registering is March 30 but it is best to reserve now as the event is expected to sell out.

Why I’m Still Into This Gun Thing

Here is Kate Mayer of Newtown on why she is “Still into this gun thing” and why it is so important that we vote on November 4 for candidates who want to keep our strong Connecticut gun laws.
The quality of the sound in this video is not great. The quality of the woman and her words is.

CAGV Hartford Area Luncheon a Huge Success

[metaslider id=763]

The CAGV luncheon at the Pond House Café in West Hartford on September 9 was a delightful occasion and a remarkable success.

Guest Speakers State Senate President Pro Tempore Donald Williams and Senator Beth Bye were entertaining and informative as they addressed the audience on the historic gun violence prevention legislation passed in 2013 and the effect of that law, and others, in keeping the public safe.

The audience was inspired to use their vote to stand with those lawmakers who favor common sense gun laws.
