AskDay

What is ASK? The ASK Campaign promotes a simple idea to help keep kids safe. It encourages parents to ask if there are unlocked guns in the homes where their children play.

What is ASK Day? ASK Day is celebrated annually on the first day of summer, marking a season when kids typically spend more time at the homes of friends and other family members. This year ASK Day falls on Sunday, June 21st.

Here’s how to support ASK Day in your community.

Attend a Playdate and set a Guinness World Record.

Find out about “America’s Largest Playdate” flagship events happening in Boston, Brooklyn, Los Angeles, Washington, DC and Williston, SC on June 21. Help set a Guinness World Record for the largest game of telephone and enjoy snacks, cold treats, games, and entertainment. All events are free and open to all. For more details visit askingsaveskids.org.

Host a local Playdate.

Host an ASK Day playdate in your community or at your home, it’s easy! Visit the toolkit for information on how to host an ASK playdate or send an e-mail at askday@bradymail.org.

More ASK events.

Be sure to look for the ASK Campaign at festivals, picnics, and other fun events promoting ASK Day throughout the month of June.
