Join Us for the Official Launch of the Greater Hartford Interfaith Action Alliance
After three years of preparation involving over 40 religious institutions, congregations in greater Hartford area are launching the Greater Hartford Interfaith Action Alliance (GHIAA). A founding member of GHIAA, AHCC members and friends are invited to be present for this historic event on Monday, October 28 at Central Connecticut State University (Welte Auditorium). The Founding ceremony will begin at 6:45pm – plan to arrive at 6:15pm to be seated together and on time.
Called together under the direction of the Christian Activities Council, GHIAA is a deliberate effort to cross lines of race, class, religion and geography to build relational power to make the greater Hartford region a more just and equitable place for our local communities and beyond.
