Connecticut Teens Against Gun Violence is hosting a youth led open mic night on Friday, May 17, at 7-9 pm, located at the Unitarian Universalist Congregation of Danbury. It is open to students from middle school and up who want to share their thoughts and feelings on gun violence. We want you to be heard! Our goal is to create a safe space, and a creative platform for young activists to meet and share ideas and stories. Also, we are looking to find youth leaders who are interested in leading this movement with us.
If you would like to perform, please sign up to do so through this google form:Performance Sign Up . If not, we would love for you to come and support and have fun! Performances should be 2-5 minutes long. The application and attendance is free and there will be pizza and refreshments. Feel free to email firstname.lastname@example.org with any questions.
