‘Their greatness was stolen from us’: CT gun violence victims, including from Sandy Hook, remembered
News Times | A Monday morning vigil to honor Connecticut gun violence victims on the eighth anniversary of the Sandy Hook Elementary School massacre was not just about remembrance — it was a call to action.
Since the 2012 massacre of 20 students and six educators at Sandy Hook, about 300,000 people in the United States have been killed by guns, said Jeremy Stein, executive director of CT Against Gun Violence, which hosted the Facebook Live vigil.
